This AnCnoc 12 Years Old is the base product of the AnCnoc distillery. The availabilty of this product is particularly high and it is a well known product due to its interesting quality/price ratio. <br><br> The Knockdhu distillery is located in Aberdeenshire and was founded in 1894.
at first there are slight floral scents perceptible. Then it delivers notes of sherry, caramel, peach and citrus. There are also light white pepper notes. Lastly, some malted flavors reach the nose. The alcoholic component is perceptible and at times tends to overwhelm the aromatic palette.
light white pepper notes, followed by fruits (apple in particular) and floral notes. There are also malted notes perceptible.
the persistency is medium short. White pepper is present here as well, as are the fruits.
Featuring a good complexity, the AnCnoc 12 yo is a product that has indeed an interesting and particularly attractive quality/price ratio. Refined and elegant. A good product at a very good price point.
