This Wheated Bourbon is a new addition to the Bardstown Bourbon Company’s estate-distilled Origin Series. All production processes—including distilling, aging, and bottling—are handled by the brand at their facility in Bardstown. This bourbon features a mash bill with a high percentage of wheat, consisting of 53% corn, 39% wheat, and 8% malted barley.
Aged for six years, this bourbon is bottled at 53% ABV (106 proof). It is the fourth release in the Origin Series and the second wheated bourbon, following the Bottled in Bond Bourbon, which contains 20% wheat. The High Wheat Bourbon is now available, with a suggested retail price of $49.99.
